DDC has been operating in the Philippines since 1989 and we have always appreciated the friendliness, dedication and loyalty of the people that we encounter there. It is part of our ongoing company philosophy to "put something back" and we are delighted to announce some of our recent initiatives in Leyte Province.

One of the founder directors of DDC, Mr Jericho Petilla, was elected as Governor of Leyte Province in 2005 and through his office we have channelled funds to build two school rooms and to improve local hospital and orphanage facilities.

In 2005 DDC also set up The DDC Group Leyte Foundation in a formal operation to handle the collection and distribution of funds to help Leyte and its people in any way that we can.You can help! Examples of The DDC Group re-investment programme

Government Hospital in Leyte

We have built 6 private rooms with the intention of allowing the hospital to charge for the rooms in order to generate funds to reinvest in the hospital. We chose to do it this way to set a precedent to self finance to give them the power to reinvest in their future.
